Sounds like a great opportunity for a lot of history enthusiasts to put together short form documentaries. It is great that there is software out there for those who wouldn't otherwise be editing video. Very empowering. I am responding to this blog post as a representative of Veeple technology, which is operating on a similar model, empowering the online video content creator to do more. I see how Digital NZ's service would work great in combination with Veeple.com's software and I wonder logistically how the two ideas could combine to create an even more interactive online video experience for the user. With Veeple the content creator can later upload images that serve as interactive links that can later be added ontop of the person's video to provide additional information and portals to relevant websites.
