LAB-VR, financed by the European Commission is an experiment on the use of panoramic pictures (QuickTime VR) as an interface to gain access to scientific content developed in research institutions and laboratories.

Ideum worked closely with Provincia di Torino (Province of Turin, Italy), shooting over 50 panoramic images and a half-dozen cubic VR movies at 12 different locations within the province. The final interactive Web site will be launched in late 2002.
