The opening screen with simple oversized buttons for the touch screen monitor. The buttons highlight when pressed, the Earth, and Mars rotate while a shadow crosses the moon's surface.

Earth, Moon, Mars, and Beyond features NASA's major initiatives of exploration and science. Ideum worked closely with NASA's Office of Public Affairs to design and develop this project.

The interactive electronic exhibit runs on a touch-screen kiosk and it powers a second Magic Planet Display which shows spherical images and plays animations of the Earth, the Moon, and other planets and moons. This innovative display was developed by Global Imagination.

The exhibit was developed using Macromedia Flash. Ideum devised an external content structure allowing NASA personnel to easily update exhibit information.
