Most of the Quest content is geocoded and available on the front page of the site in a Google Map mashup. The Quest television and radio schedule, recent blog stories, and Flickr photos are dynamically presented on the front page as well.

Quest utilizes all of KQED Public Broadcasting's media platforms.  An interactive Website uses Google Map and Flickr mashups to present high-quality television programs, radio spots, blog postings, education guides, and map-based "explorations."

Ideum worked closely with KQED to design the Website and to program and develop most of its key functions. A custom content management system (CMS) allows KQED staff to easily add GPX files (GPS eXchange Format) to create paths and points on Google Maps and connect them to Flickr photographs. Television clips and radio can also be easily added to the site, these appear at points on the map and populate the  TV/Radio section of the site.
