The Mammoth Mountain touch screen interactive allows visitors to explore the mountain and the surrounding area. The kiosks are an integral part of the Top of the Sierra Interpretive Center located on the 11,053 foot summit of Mammoth Mountain. Ideum created a 3D version of the mountain and southern Sierra range. Visitors can "fly" from location to location, pressing overlay buttons to learn more about the history and science of the region.
Ideum worked closely with Mammoth Ski Area and S2 Associates to develop this electronic exhibit. Macromedia Flash and XML were used to author the exhibit. Most of the content is easily editable, allowing for updates and additions.
