The Grand Tour of the Solar System exhibit is large-scale self-running program that explores the major bodies of our of solar system. The exhibit uses a five-foot spherical Magic Planet display along with four traditional monitors that provide captioning and present additional imagery.  The exhibit presents a full audio program with music and synced graphics on the displays.

A modular design developed in Adobe Flash, makes extensive use of XML allowing staff to quickly update the program. A tablet PC program was developed to allow docents to override the application and provide personal tours the solar system.  This exhibit is part of the new expansion of the Sudekum Planetarium at Nashville's Adventure Science Center. Ideum worked closely with the science center to develop a number of interactive exhibits and digital signage.
