Stunning eclipse footage from the Exploratorium was layered and animated using Adobe After Effects, the final DVD was authored with Apple's DVD Studio Pro. In the actual DVD this "motion menu" sequence loops seemlessly.

Total Eclipse DVD is a thirty-minute educational video focusing on the science of solar eclipses. Scientists interviews, NASA animations, and historical imagery are blended with footage from three Exploratorium and NASA eclipse expeditions and webcasts. The video was produced by Kurt Keppeler in conjuction with the Exploratorium and NASA.

Ideum animated and authored the DVD menu and encoded the video for DVD. Addtionally, Ideum created the English subtitles and designed the DVD label and packaging.
