A simple navigational structure: "Read," "Share," and "Learn" helps the visitor understand the purpose of the site and find their way.

The Widows of War Living Memorial is a Web site where widows of all armed conflicts can record and share their stories with others around the world.

Ideum worked closely with Underground Advertising (now Big Think Studios), and filmmaker Barbara Sonneborn whose 1998 Academy Award nominated documentary Regret to Inform was the inspiration for the Web site. The documentary also won awards from the Sundance Film Festival and Independent Spirt Awards in 1999.

The site was originally developed in 2000 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the end of United States involvement in Vietnam.
