The Solar Events DVD contains two promotional videos and educational materials focusing on Sun-Earth Connection science. Each video describes a different public outreach event: Sun-Earth Day and Eclipse 2001.

Ideum produced the two main videos including narration, introductory animation, and–in conjunction with the Sun-Earth Connection Education Forum–script development. Ideum authored the DVD interface, created the interactive slide show, and designed DVD disc and case packaging.
