AV Technician

Full Time

We seek a full-time AV Technician who can assist as we develop integrated media-based exhibits, including video walls, projection exhibits, custom touch tables, kiosks, and other AV-related installations. Candidates must have basic Audio Visual systems experience, along with PC computer skills, as well as excellent communication skills. The position may require travel as we conduct installations at top museums, zoos, and other locations around the country. Experience with projection, video walls, and other related technical skills is important. Experience with IoT, microcomputers, and electronics is a strong plus.

Someone who will be enthusiastic about upholding Ideum’s standards of design through quality assurance of all creative deliverables, and who will welcome the opportunity to develop new capabilities and skillsets. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years experience who has worked with project teams to assist in the conception, design, and presentation of digital experiences that connect with audiences. They should also have a demonstrated ability to produce work that requires very little feedback and be well-versed in layout, composition, typography. The ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated and dependable under tight deadlines.
